Part 3: Special Manoeuvres

Special Manoeuvres

11 Safety and car control

The actions/maneuvers described in part 10 up to and including 17 are recognized as special maneuvers. If you perform such a maneuver all the other traffic has priority over you. Most important is that you perform the maneuver safely in combination with proper car control. They are described very briefly in this document: it will get clear what to do during the lessons. Getting in- and out of the car and car preparation are also considered special maneuvers, but not described in this document. Getting out of the car maneuver must be done with great care however! Looking technique getting out of the car: Back mirror, front, left side mirror, left shoulder.
